Tough Loss Against An Experienced Tilton Team

TILTON, NH –

It is always an exciting matchup when playing against Tilton School. With our school’s history of competing, players need to be at their best to win. Unfortunately, New Hampton School did not give a winning performance today, but the Huskies fought hard. Ne’vaeh Buntley ’24 was key for the Huskies offensively, shooting over 50% percent from the field. Tahlia Peña ’25 handled Tilton’s full court pressure all game and was able to jump start the Huskies' offense. Defensively Kitt Jones ’25 was a strong spark limiting Tilton’s fast break and second chance points in the third period. Elyse Ngenda ’26 was more aggressive in the second half and helped reduce Tilton’s lead to eight points. While the fight was there, the Rams were able to secure the win due to their first half performance. Final score 56 – 74.
