New Hampton 45, NMH 60

NEW HAMPTON, NH - 

The Huskies' start against NMH was not strong, allowing them to score 20 points in the first quarter. Ne’vaeh Buntley ’24 put the Huskies on the scoreboard to help stop NMH’s run. Adriana Hernandez ’25 and Kitt Jones were great sparks off the bench in the second quarter, both knocking down threes and bringing defensive energy. Half time score: NMH 39, New Hampton 20. The Huskies changed the momentum of the game in the third period, keeping NMH to just 7 points. Ava Perry ’27 and Jones were huge factors on the defensive end to help with New Hampton’s run. After playing the whole game, Tahlia Peña ’25 continued to compete with no fear in the fourth, hitting 3 threes to help the Huskies reduce NMH’s lead. Despite the strong effort and late runs, we weren’t able to find victory. Final score 45 – 60.
