First Game on Mark Tilton Court, New Hampton Finds Victory

NEW HAMPTON, NH - 

The Huskies were ready at the start scoring 18 points to Milton’s 4. Adriana Hernandez ’25 with her first start of the year, nailed two three-pointers in the first four minutes of the game. Freshman Ava Perry made her way onto the score sheet, knocking down a three in the corner assisted by Elyse Ngenda ’26 to end the first quarter. Tahlia Pena ’25 was our leading scoring in the second quarter with 7 points and kept the Huskies' momentum going. Score at the half was 27 – 7. In the third quarter, Milton came out more aggressive offensively scoring 9 points. New Hampton’s defense picked up in the fourth and did not allow Milton Academy to score. Ne’veah Buntley ’24 and Abby Schrader ’27 were great sparks in the fourth getting defensive stops and contributing to the Huskies' lead. Buntely ended the game with her second double–double this year with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Pena and Hernandez finished in double digits in scoring as well. Ngenda was active on the defensive end with 5 steals and 8 rebounds. Final score 52 – 16.
