Huskies Travel to Winchendon for the First Game of the Season

On Wednesday, the New Hampton Huskies traveled to The Winchendon School for their first game of the season. From the drop of the puck, the Huskies battled in both the defensive and offensive ends of the ice. Hurst Tasha would come up big for his team throughout the night, stealing multiple scoring chances away from the Winch forwards. The Huskies would find themselves down 2-0 going into the third period. However, they would continue to fight and generate offensive chances but would struggle to get a bounce their way. Rupert Ingram would be the first Husky to get his team on the scoreboard. Making it 4-1 Winchendon. Unfortunately, it would be too little too late as New Hampton would fall to Winchendon with a 4-1 final. The Huskies will hit the road again to take on Proctor Academy this Friday at 4:30.
