Senior Day for the Huskies

New Hampton hosted Senior Day against Philips Exeter Academy on Wednesday on Kennedy Field. Before kickoff, the Huskies celebrated the incredible contributions of Ingrid Bjornas, Kaelin Fitzpatrick, Emily Hobausz, and Izzy Prentiss. All four would go on to battle hard for 80 minutes against Exeter en route to a 0-0 draw against the Class A team that would see the Huskies keep their playoff hopes alive.

The first half would see each team spend time on the offensive end. The Huskies began the game on the front foot, but Exeter began to push forward as the half continued, and New Hampton relied on the defensive unit of Bjornas, Prentiss, Elyse Ngenda '26, Heidi Smith '26, and Fia Swormstedt '26 to go into the half tied.

In the second half, the Huskies were on the front foot, threatening towards the Exeter goal with attacks from out wide, while also looking to gain possession by pressing the Exeter backline. The second half would see Fitzpatrick, Hobausz, Kaylie Reeve '26, and Brielle Lee '27 all record multiple shots. Ultimately, New Hampton wouldn't be able to find the go ahead goal and would end the game in a 0-0 draw.

New Hampton wraps up the regular season with a Homecoming Weekend game against KUA at 2:15 on Kennedy Field.
