Huskies Fall at St. Paul's

New Hampton took to the road for their final road game of the regular season for a Lakes Region matchup with Class A St. Paul's.

The Huskies would start off the match on the front foot, doing well to control the midfield through the work rate of Emily Hobausz '24, Kaylie Reeve, 26, Katie Usilton '26, Reese Luber '25, and Teagan Hurley '25. New Hampton would do well to push numbers forward while the backline contained the St. Paul's counterattack.

New Hampton's closest chance of the first half would come on a free kick from just outside of the 18-yard box that Kaelin Fitzpatrick '24 would put off of the crossbar. The Huskies would then go into the half tied at 0-0.

In the second half, the Huskies would push forward looking for the game winner, but fell behind after a St. Paul's corner kick. Pushing numbers forward, the Huskies would concede again and ultimately fall 0-3 despite their best efforts.

New Hampton finishes the year off at home with Senior Day on Wednesday against Exeter and then a homecoming showdown against KUA on Saturday.
