Huskies Couldn’t Cope with KUA’s Quality

The Huskies traveled to Kimball Union Academy on a cold evening to face the Lakes Region team.  Although the start of the game was promising for New Hampton with keeping some solid possession, KUA broke through after 10 minutes of play with their first goal.  From there the Huskies scrambled a bit and gave up 3 more goals before halftime.  Starting the second half the Huskies were determined to come out and compete and strung together some great sequences of forward passes that resulted in a couple chances in front of goal for the Huskies, but we were unable to capitalize on any of them.  A couple sloppy mistakes in the back during the second half resulted in KUA being able to grab 2 more goals before the final whistle ultimately blowing.
