Huskies Play Hard at Dexter, End in a Draw

The Huskies travelled down to Dexter Southfield on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for what turned into an impressive match up between Dexter and New Hampton. While scoring took place early, with both teams recording goals in the first quarter, play continued back and forth for the duration of the game. Heading into their third OT scenario of the regular season, the Huskies were eager to put one away and come out with a victory on the day. However, Dexter's defense remained strong and while both teams hustled hard, neither could find the back of the net.

On the day, Julia Loughlin '24 recorded New Hampton's lone goal with an incredibly composed lift around Dexter's keeper. For her hustle in the midfield and for the confidence she displayed creating offensive momentum for her teammates, Cara Kuczek '26 was New Hampton's Husky Hustler as well.

New Hampton will take another pause in their schedule before returning to Kennedy Field on Friday night as they face off against Brewster Academy. An important game for the Huskies, they will take time to celebrate and recognize their Seniors during Senior Night!
