Huskies Win at Hebron

New Hampton took to the road on Wednesday afternoon for a matchup with Hebron Academy. The Huskies relied on a total team effort to take away the win, with goals and assists coming from seven different players.

Kaelin Fitzpatrick '24 would start the scoring five minutes into the opening frame after Fia Swormstedt '26 drove down the left hand side before passing the ball inside. Fitzpatrick would score two minutes later off of a through ball from Emily Hobausz '24.

Ava Perry '27 would go on to score her third goal of the season and the third goal of the game after chasing down a Fitzpatrick pass into the box that she finished calmly past the Hebron keeper. Fitzpatrick finished her hat trick after converting a free kick from 25 yards out. Brielle Lee '27 would get on the scoreboard on an assist from fellow first-year Gianna Young '27 who capped off a strong run down the right hand side with a cross to Lee. Young would serve as the creator a second time to cap the first half scoring when she found Casey Stores '27 with a pass that Stores put into the back of the net.

After notching a pair of assists in the first half, Young would get on the other end of the pass as she scored New Hampton's first two goals, unassisted to keep up the pace. Lee would go on to get her second goal of the game from a Hobausz assist as the Huskies would wind up with nine tallies on the day.

New Hampton takes on Dexter-Southfield this Friday at 3:45 to cap off the Parents' Weekend celebrations.
