New Hampton Draw at Proctor

The Huskies made the short trip to Proctor Academy for a rematch of their early season clash. Like the first go around, this game would again end in a draw between the two Lakes Region rivals. 

The two sides would go back and forth to start the match, with an unlucky ricochet off the post, seeing the Huskies trail 1-0 in the opening frame. However, New Hampton would bounce back as they pushed forwards for an equalizer that ultimately came on a Reese Luber '25 shot from a corner kick. Luber's first goal in husky green would send the two teams into half tied at one goal apiece.

The second half saw both teams push for the game winner. Proctor would look to counterattack with speed down New Hampton's left side, but Fia Swormstedt '26 would prove more than equal to the task. New Hampton would look to do the same, as Brielle Lee '27 repeatedly found space on the flank as she continued to play threatening crosses into the middle. Ultimately, New Hampton would not be able to break through and the game would end at 1-1. 

New Hampton continues their road stretch with a mid-week matchup against Kents Hill School to be played at neutral site, Fryeburg Academy.
