Huskies Prove Relentless, Win at Winsor

The Huskies hit the road on Saturday for an away game in the heart of Boston, at Winsor School. Making great connections in the first quarter, Husky offense took every opportunity to rush up the field and get shots on goal. Their early efforts were rewarded and they were able to contain later offensive advances by Winsor and remain defensively strong in two man down scenarios. Buzzer sounded with a 2-1 score in the Huskies favor.

Their early efforts were rewarded and they were able to contain later offensive advances by Winsor and remain defensively strong in two man down scenarios. The clock sounded with a 2-1 outcome in the Huskies favor.

Kennedy Walker '25 kicked off the scoring in the first quarter with a composed and strong stroke. Julia Loughlin '24 got what would become the game winner off of a breakaway opportunity before the end of the first half. While the Huskies played down a man for the last 5 minutes of play, Husky defense was solid and shut down all but one of Winsor's advances. Julia Loughlin '24 was awarded out Husky Hustler award for her hustle, grit, and composure throughout the game

The Huskies head into a busy next stretch. They will face off against St. Paul's School on Monday at home. Get ready to cheer on your Huskies from Kennedy Field!
