On a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, the Huskies travelled down 93 south to face off against Tilton School in their third Lakes Region matchup of the season. In the opening minutes of play, the Huskies set the tone early as they made great connections across the field and took every opportunity to send the ball into their offensive circle. Every Husky stepped onto the field in this afternoon's contest and individual contributions were great.

Goals and assists were recorded by many Huskies today. In the first quarter, Caroline Thomas '25 opened the scoring with her first goal as a Husky. Reagan Comora '25 guaranteed the next two goals with assists by Ireland Stark '26 and Thomas '25. Kennedy Walker '25 got her first of the game from a great rush sparked by Julia Loughlin '24. Tilton School got up on the board before the end of the first quarter, catching the Huskies on a defensive breakdown.

In the second quarter, Walker '25 recorded two more (second assisted by Ella Fischetti '27) and Loughlin '24 knocked one in after her consistent effort and hustle throughout the first half. The third quarter proved much more competitive as the Rams tested Husky defense. The Huskies were able to solidify one more goal on the day with a great redefend by Stark '26 and a confident shot by Maddie LaCroix '25. Tilton's relentless effort was rewarded in the fourth quarter with a final goal to conclude the game at 8-2.

Today's Husky Hustler Award was attributed to GK Luna McCulloch '26, who hopped into cage at a moment's notice and recorded her first start and win as a Husky. Congrats, Luna!

The Huskies have an important two days of practice before they head down to Boston on Saturday to face off against Class C opponent, Winsor School.
