New Hampton Draws at Home

New Hampton took on Proctor Academy under the lights on Kennedy Field on Friday night. Always an evenly contested matchup, the night would end in a draw with neither team able to record a goal.

The Huskies benefitted from strong play in the midfield, helping to maintain possession for much of the night through the efforts of Kaylie Reeve '26, Katie Usilton '25, Teagan Hurley '25, and Emily Hobausz '24.

The New Hampton attack would be led by senior captains Hobausz and Kaelin Fitzpatrick, who recorded six and five shots, respectively. Despite holding a 14 to 4 advantage in total shots, the Huskies would not be able to break through a tough Proctor backline for the game winner.

Izzy Prentiss '24 would record her second consecutive shutout in net behind outstanding center back play from Heidi Smith '26 and Trinity Walsh '25 while Fia Swormstedt '26, Mack Hibbert '25, and Ingrid Bjornas '24 effectively patrolled the flanks for the Huskies.

New Hampton hits the road next Wednesday for their first away game of the season as they take on Beaver Country Day School at 4:30.
