Victory on Long Road Trip

Huskies ready to go after long bus ride to Hebron
We showed up to Hebron Academy with little time to get settled and warmed up, but the team was ready to go right away. We knew going into the game how talented and well-coached the Lumberjacks are this year.

It was clear from the first whistle that our players were up for a challenge and, although it took us a while to establish ourselves in the game, we felt confident all game.

In a familiar story this season, we were slow to start offensively but grinded away until the opportunities presented themselves. The Hebron goalkeeper stood on his head a few times and made some tremendous diving, acrobatic saves to keep his side in the game.

However, we began to pull away early in the second half and never looked back. In the windy conditions, it wasn't always the prettiest of soccer but we are thrilled to return home to Husky Nation with the 4-1 victory.
