Huskies Make it Three Wins in a Row
The victory over Cushing makes it three wins in a row for the Huskies and brings first clean sheet of the season
In our last home game for a couple weeks, we put in a dominating first-half performance. The guys strung together several passes at a time, created plenty of chances, and buried our opportunities.
As we continue to work on our patrience and composure on the ball, we were nearly left to rue our missed chances in the second half. After a couple close calls, our offensive dialed up the pressure and put shot after shot on target. We found the back of the net one more time during the second half to make it 3-0 and post our first clean sheet of the season.
It is a privileged position to nitpick a shutout, 3-0 victory, but we need to take better advantage of our chances and be more clinical in possession. The team is continuing to improve and come into our own. We are confident that in the coming games we will see the real breakthrough performance that the boys are capable of achieving.
