Huskies tame Bulls away from home in local rivalry match-up
We traveled a couple exits north on 93 to play Holderness in a Lakes Region League tilt.
The guys came out of the gates flying and bagged two goals before half-time. Still riding the high from the Brooks game and a strong first half led us to a complacent start at the beginning of the second half. Our hard-work and lead was quickly undone after the Bulls came out eager to tie the game and quickly cut the deficit.
The game held steady at 2-1 for the rest of the game with the better of the play going to a motivated and rugged Holderness team. The bulls had a wild flurry of chances in the dying moments of the game, but our defense and goalkeeper held strong to secure the win.
