Huskies Fall to a Strong Brewster Squad

The Huskies tallied first against Brewster on a beautiful, sunny Saturday, but in the end, they fell short. Bry Treon took the net and had nearly ten incredible saves throughout the match, letting three goals just slip in: one over her head, and one a roller just inside the post. Jamie Holleran scored New Hampton's goal in the first half on a cross from Paige Noyes that the Brewster goalie tapped back into play. Nga Nguyen played well in midfield, and Madi Woods, Lucy Thomson, Lily Tripp, Lulu Budde, and Becca Simmons were strong on the back line throughout the match. The girls fought hard and communicated well throughout the 70 minutes of play. They have a week of practice before facing Kimball Union Academy next Saturday at home.
