Huskies Start the Season Strong in Proctor Jamboree

On Saturday, the huskies traveled to Proctor Academy for a 6 game jamboree. We played Tilton, Proctor, and Kimball Union two times each. We started off very strong in our first full field game against Tilton, winning 4-0. Our goalie and defense barely saw the ball because we were so dominant on the offensive side. Our defensive pressure on 16-yard hits was impeccable, winning possession back in our offense nearly every single time. Proctor proved more challenging to beat, resulting in a scoreless game. The ball was back and forth on both sides, but remained in our midfield for the majority of the game. We then moved to the small sided field for 3 mini games sans goalie. We beat Tilton 3-1, Proctor 1-0, and KUA 3-1. We were excited to end on the big turf for one more full field game against KUA. We reignited the fire with our goalies at our backs once again and used this energy and momentum to make quick defensive moves, string together beautiful passes in the midfield and transition to the offense, beating KUA 2-0. We scored on a corner that was executed beautifully as well as a nice rush into the offensive circle.

Great day to be a husky!
