Alexa Mailloux and Ben DiGrande make podium again this week at Cannon Mt. Slopestyle Competition
NHS riders traveled up north through Franconia Notch for their second slopestyle competition at Cannon Mountain today. Alexa Mailloux continues to put down solid runs through the park and placed first overall amongst the girls for her second competition in a row. Mixing in new grabs and rail combos helped her secure the best score from the judges today. Scoring 65 on her first run put her in a considerbale lead early in the day and no other female riders came close to this score throughout the competition.

Ben DiGrande continues to put together smooth lines in the park and finished 3rd place overall in the boys category. Spinning off rails, piecing together technical lines, and grabbing through his spins allowed him to reach the podium again this week. After washing out on his first run, he pulled it together and stomped a clean line on his second run, scoring an 86.5

Ted Chiriamonte and Jake Schottenfeld are picking up their game and getting used to various slopestyle courses. Jake scored 19th overall and Ted 20th overall. They look to progress and hone their skills throughout the rest of this week during training. Loon Mt and Ragged Mt both have excellent parks right now and the team is looking to ride both before the week is over.
