NHS loses to a tough St. Paul's School

The Huskies kept it close with St. Paul's in the first period, ending in a 1-1 tie. Emma T. scored the only goal of the game with an assist from Taylor H. The second period was extremely tough for the Huskies. They were out shot, and St. Paul's took the advantage leading 3-1. St. Paul's still dominated the third period with shots, but the Huskies did show improvements getting more shots on the net. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough against St. Paul's, who went on to win 4-1. Sophia H. started in net and made 20 saves. Averill M. went in the net for the second half of the game and made 18 saves. Ellie B. was recognized after the game for her overall strong performance on defense. Sam D. was recognized for her improvements on defense. Emma T. was the last player to be recognized by the coaches for her outstanding hustle, coach-ability and for being a great teammate and captain.
