Bats come alive in game one of double header at KUA

10 different Huskies recorded hits in game one on Saturday vs. KUA.
Five hits from Zola Braswell helped lead the way for Huskies over Kimball Union Academy 18-3 on Saturday. Braswell doubled in the second, singled in the second, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.
 
Huskies secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the second inning. Maryellen Leach, Madeline Young, Bailey Jenness, Madison Willingham, Braswell, and Leach each had RBIs in the frame.
 
Willingham led things off in the circle for Huskies. She allowed two hits and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Ali Beaulieu also made an appearance on the mound, pitching one and one-third innings.
 
Huskies racked up 27 hits. Braswell, Savannah Norcross, Leach, Jenness, Willingham, Ellie Beaudet, Maddie Crowley-Cahill, and Young each racked up multiple hits for Huskies.
