Huskies Split with a Strong Tilton Team

The Huskies split their match with a very talented Tilton squad. The conditions were a little wet and the greens had recently been punched, so the Huskies struggled around the greens. Jess Burwell (6) won her match and shot 46. Louis Liang lost (5) his match shooting a 49, going down early in the first four holes. Their pairing ultimately lost the best ball. Alec Grace (4) had a tough outing, struggling to covert on par chances and getting off the tee box. Troy Coan (3) won his match shooting a 43, then hit a big 10 foot putt on the 9th to secure the best ball for his pairing. Michael Kesselring (2) won his match shooting a 40, and Lynden Breen (1) lost shooting 40. The top pairing split their best ball, missing putts on the 9th. The tie wasn't ideal, but the teams played great and are set for a great competition at the Lakes Region Championship. The Huskies will prepare for their upcoming matches against Proctor, Holderness, and Vermont next week.
