7th Inning 2-out Rally leads New Hampton over Tilton

New Hampton School won a thriller over Tilton School 6-5 on Friday. The game was tied at five with New Hampton batting in the top of the seventh when Jake Proccacianti doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

New Hampton opened up scoring in the first inning, when Proccacianti doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Alex Rives led the New Hampton to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking zero. Roy Grigsby threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
John Pigott took the loss for Tilton School Rams Varsity. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out five.

Jameson Goff started the game for New Hampton School Huskies. He went four innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out one and walking zero.

New Hampton totaled seven hits. Ian Gobbi and Proccacianti each racked up multiple hits for New Hampton. Gobbi led New Hampton School with three hits in three at bats.
