Huskies fall to KUA in rainy home opener
Husky JV Women’s lacrosse opened their season at home with a tough loss to KUA, with a final score of 4-13. Sophomores Colleen (Coco) Harriman and Subhana Branche each netted one goal, while freshman Amelia Monahan found the back of the net twice.
Goalies Carla Wuerth and Kyra Leland split time in the cage, each notching 4 saves—impressive since neither has ever played goalie before! Senior Jin Na lead the team in ground balls (4) and Molly George ’19 grabbed 2 draw controls.
A great all-around effort by our Husky laxers today! We look forward to hosting Winchendon School on Saturday on Kennedy field.
