Providence, RI - New Hampton bounced back from a heartbreaking OT loss to a good Milton Academy team by putting together 40 minutes of team first basketball against former NEPSAC AAA foe South Kent. A balanced attack and a terrific assist/turnover ratio paced the team as they were able to control a very talented and tough South Kent squad.
New Hampton was led by Mika Adams-Woods '19 (Syracuse, NY) who was named the MVP of the game with 21 pts and 6 assts, Bas Leyte '19 (Bergan Op Zoom, Netherlands) who notched another double-double with 14 pts and 10 rbs, and Mason Webb '18 (Okahoma City, OK) who chipped in 10 pts.
The team will have a week of practice before traveling to Wolfeboro to face the Brewster Bobcats.
