The Huskies took on Hillside school in their annual matchup Friday night. The Huskies got off to a solid start, opening up on a 15-0 run. Hillside continued to play hard and outscored New Hampton 18-15 in the last 9 minutes of the half.
NHS came out firing in the second half. Charlie Raisin scored 15 points in a minute stretch and extended the lead for the Huskies who didn’t turn back. Will Wood and Max Davis led the second half surge from the bench with 12 points combined on their own run. New Hampton came out on top 69-51. The junior boarding school showed tremendous toughness in a great showing against New Hampton.
The Huskies were led by Charlie Raisin (20 points), Marcus Peterson (15 points) and Max Davis (10 points). NHS faces a very strong Winchendon School squad Saturday at 3:30 pm in the upper gym.
