Dempsey Arsenault Represents New England at Under Armour All-American Underclassman Game.
New Hampton School's Dempsey Arsenault was recently selected to represent the New England region at the 2014 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament. This tournament is this sport’s most prestigious underclassmen tournament that featured girls and boys teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate New York, Washington, D.C., and West and consisted of players from the graduating classes of 2015-17.
The event took place July 11-13 at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University in Towson, Maryland. Over the three days, the teams battled in a 10-team pool play tournament. The New England Team battled with the best of them and finished with a 3-1 record just missing out on the playoff rounds due to goal differetials.
Arsenault, who was recently recognized as one of four High School All-Americans from New Hampshire, was a scoring leader on New Hampton School's Lakes Region Championship squad. A dual threat on the offensive and defensive end, Arsenault already is committed to attend Boston College to play lacrosse. Arsenault is a member of the field hockey and ice hockey teams.
