Tilton Takes Over NHS @ Laconia CC
A close match at Laconia CC resulted in a loss for the NHS Varsity golf team.
NHS was hoping to beat Tilton for the second time this year and this time they were hoping to do it on their home course, Laconia CC. Tilton proved to be too much for NHS though and the Huskies lost by one point.
Hayden Berry played against Tilton's #1 guy for the second time this year. After tieing him during their first match, Berry fell to his opponent at Laconia on Saturday. Corapi also lost to his opponent playing at the #2 spot for the team. His opponent chipped in for a birdie on the 7th hole to make the match very interesting.
Josh Peters was able to beat his opponent, playing at the #3 spot but wasn't able to get the best ball. Davila lost his match playing at the #4 spot.
Swenson was able to win his match and best ball while Roth fell to his opponent. The team is looking forward to the Lake's Region Championship at Sunapee CC this Wednesday.
