Big Win at Home on Senior Night
Kimball Union Academy traveled to Husky Nation on Wednesday to play the Huskies on their Senior night. New Hampton celebrated Shayla Hubbard and manager Shanah Gordon on their last game at home. The entire Husky team worked very hard for these two teammates in order to honor their time at NHS. Despite some confusion between the refs and the table, New Hampton School was able to stay focused and composed in order to take the win.
Representitive of her great leadership and ability to leave everything on the court, Shayla Hubbard led the Huskies in points and rebounds. She contributed 17 points to leave followed by Egle Zelnyte with 11 and Hannah Cuthbertson and Chloe Hanlan with 10 each. Points were also added by Emily George, Abbie Taylor, and Kes Baker.
The Huskies will travel to Tilton School on Friday to finish out the regular season.
