Lakeside Victory

Another well earned victory for New Hampton (4-2) on Saturday at the lakeside Brewster Academy.  Not having played a game in over three weeks, the Huskies still came out energized to play their game of tough team defense, forcing the Bobcats to continually take difficult shots.  Efforts on the glass held Brewster to one shot per possession throughout the first half and provided New Hampton second opportunities on their end.  New Hampton senior Jamal Mitchell, season high 29 points, and freshman Carter Dillon, 10 rebounds and 8 points, lead the offensive charge, with numerous players chipping in early to help the Huskies stay double digits away from the Bobcats for the majority of the game.  New Hampton will host Hebron Academy on Wednesday, January 11, at 3:30pm
