St. Sebastian's stops huskies win streak at 2 games

The New Hampton Huskies went into their game on Saturday looking for their third win in a row. However, they had to get by the St. Sebastian Arrows first. St. Sebs came put quick scoring on the first shift of the game. Pat Trainor '12 tied the game shortly after on an odd-man rush. Trainor's goal was the first shot on net for the Huskies in the game. St. Sebs regained the lead on a power-play and never looked back. A late power-play goal gave the Arrows a 3-1 lead going into the second period. The Huskies came out skating hard in the second period and controlled the game. JC Winslow '12 brought the Huskies within a goal and had all the momentum. That is as close as NHS would get to tying the game. St. Sebs scored two quick goals late in the period, and that would be all the scoring on the night. The third period featured back and forth action , but neither team put any goals on the board.
