Huskies Defeat Worcester Academy

The New Hampton field hockey team faced Worcester Academy Wednesday in their debut game on Kennedy Field.  The Huskies fought hard for a 1-0 win over their opponent from Massachusettes.  The first half finished scoreless in the close match up.  Emma Berry '10 found the back of the cage early in the second half with a rocket shot from the top of the circle.  Leanne Galletly '09, on defense, and Ellyn Moore '09, in the cage, clinched the win for the Huskies with an excellent game in the backfield.  Next, the Huskies will face league rival, Holderness, Friday 9/19 at home.
