Huskies Roll Over Proctor

The New Hampton School girls' basketball team defeated Proctor Academy on Saturday afternoon, 73-39. New Hampton dominated the game from the opening tip. The Huskies played good defense and took advantage of many fast-break opportunities to jump out to a commanding 34-16 halftime lead. Kristen McWhirter (Nashua, NH) led all scorers with 17 points for New Hampton. Rachel Murray (Gloucester, MA) contributed 13 points. Proctor's leading scorer was Katelyn Fifield, who scored 13 points. The win improves New Hampton's record to 16-1 for the season and reinforces the team's number one ranking in New England Prep School Class A.
