New
Hampton School art teachers Jayne Adams-Laurion and Amy Wilson are among
artists featured in the opening exhibition of the Waterville Valley Community
Gallery. Opening receptions and an Art Walk will be held Sunday, July 23rd,
from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. These events provide an opportunity for art
lovers to meet the artists and participate in a self-guided tour as the area
celebrates the opening of Waterville Valley’s first Community Gallery.
Located
in the heart of the White Mountains, Waterville Valley is a year-round resort
community beloved for its abundance of outdoor recreational opportunity.
With the assistance of Waterville Valley businesses and organizations, the
doors of northern New Hampshire’s visual arts community have been thrown wide
open with the creation of the Community Gallery. The artworks will be on
exhibit from July 23rd through September 4th.
Jayne
Adams-Laurion teaches studio art and coaches road cycling at New Hampton. Jayne
earned her B.F.A. in painting from University of New Hampshire. She has been
included in numerous local and regional exhibitions in Southern New Hampshire,

Gallery of Art Award from the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH.
Additionally, Jayne owned and operated a picture framing studio and gallery in
Rochester, NH, from 1983-2001.
Amy

might result in the form of a silver gelatin print, an alternative process,
