The Huskies defeated Proctor Academy11-1. It was great to see the kids go out and end the season in a positive note.
Zach Redman pitched his best game of the year for the win, and everyone in the Huskies team got to play!
Other notables were:
-Adam Pabst, who played well at 1st base, and saved his teammates in more than one occasion from committing errors with some great scoops to get important outs. -J.D. Weissman, Pat Borry, Pat Coursey, and Jimmy Grillo, all showed great improvement on the field with solid plays and great at bats. Pat Borry stole 3rd. Base, on what was one of the highlights of the game!
With this "W", The Huskies end the season with a 5-5 record and set the stage for what is to be an even better "next year".
Coach Zerpa would like to thank Coach Levine, the players and their parents for a great season: “It was fun working with you guys, I hope I was able to teach you a few things about the great game of baseball. Know that I will miss you deeply and I hope to hear that next year you all go undefeated!”.
