NHS Mens JV Fall to Brewster

NHS Mens JV soccer took on Brewster Academy after a short week of practices on Saturday 10/24. The team found themselves down early after letting up a goal off of a corner kick from Brewster, but responded well with a concerted team effort. Heroic defensive play late in the half by Trevor Kirn '24 kept the game within striking distance as the team looked poised once again for a competitive second half. A foul early in the second half set up a free kick for Martin Carlton '24 who struck the ball beautifully from 30 yards out and found the back of the net. A pair of hard-fought goals midway through the second half tilted the tides once again in Brewster's favor as the Huskies fell with a final score of 1-3. NHS Mens JV Soccer looks to bounce back and find their way in to the win column next Saturday 10/31 away against Holderness School at 2:00pm.
