Two Hat Tricks Set Huskies Over the Bulls

Coach Koester
The Huskies travel north to face Holderness for the second time this season and come away with a win.
After a restful long weekend, the JV soccer team took a short trip up the highway to Holderness school for their second match of the season. Facing 40-minute halves, the girls were ready for the challenge of the longest game of the season. With Allie Parmett in net the entire game, the Huskies' defensive line of Becca Simmons, Averi Curran, Madi Woods, and Lucy Thomson started by getting two offsides calls. By the end of the first half, the Huskies were up 3-0 with two goals from Autumn James and one by captain Jamie Holleran. A tough midfield winged by Cathy Li and Emma Yao stopped any attack from the Holderness offense. Holderness answered with two goals, but one more from Autumn and two more from Jamie led the Huskies to a 6-2 victory with two hat tricks. The girls worked well together as a team and look forward to the last four games of the season.
