Despite a ferocious second half, New Hampton comes up short.
On a gorgeous night under the lights, the Huskies fought hard against a talented Phillips Exeter Academy, but came up just short.
New Hampton had several good chances in front of goal, but the closest they could come was a Thomas Horner '20 header that pinged off the post.
The Huskies poured on the pressure in the second half and dominated possesion in the final 25 minutes of play, but Phillips Exeter pulled the midfield back and packed the box, leaving little room for the New Hampton offense to navigate.
The Huskies are back in action on October 10th at Tilton School.
