Hebron Academy Lumberjacks hosted the Huskies on a beautiful Saturday non-league match up. One of Hebron’s gorgeous grass fields set the scene for the sun filled Saturday tilt. Hard fought battles at the faceoff X and ground balls would set the tone for both teams throughout the day. Leaping ahead from the start would be the Huskies, marking five out of the box. The Lumberjacks would not go down easy, stinging three before set break. After half, the visiting Huskies would find themselves plagued with yellow flags. On two occasions the Huskies would find themselves down two men. Digging deep, the man down unit for the Huskies would shut out the Jack’s on multiple man-up advantages. Building with that momentum, the Huskies defense would only allow one goal in the second half. The game final would be left at 16-4 in favor of the visiting green and white. Back to work, the Huskies have a three game week ahead of them, opening with Gould on Monday home at 4:30.
