Bringing Campus to Life

Community life isn’t an add-on. It’s the heart of what makes your time here memorable. Here is an inside look at life at New Hampton.

Student Activities

Student activities are where student interests turn into organized fun. This includes a wide range of, excursions, and campus events, with room for students to join, lead, or build something new. Examples include:

  • Firepits, outdoor movies, and games on campus
  • Excusions to nearby attractions
  • Outdoor adventures throughout New England
  • Local trips to shops and restaurants
  • Routine trips for everyday essentials

Advisory in Action

Advisory is a small-group "home base" for every student. Each student has a consistent faculty advisor throughout their time at New Hampton School who serves as a trusted guide and go-to adult for both students and parents. They cheer you on in the audience or from the sidelines, help you get ready for that big test, and support you in setting—and reaching—your goals.

Clubs and Affinity Groups

From student-led organizations and special-interest clubs to affinity groups that foster belonging and dialogue, these communities help students connect with like-minded peers, build lasting friendships, strengthen leadership skills, and enrich the sense of community that defines New Hampton. Some examples include:

  • Bowling Club
  • Husky Green Council
  • Husky Influencers
  • Film Club
  • Women's Self Defense Club
  • Ecology Club

Campus Traditions

For more than 200 years, New Hampton School has built traditions that students look forward to year after year. These events bring the entire community together and create shared moments that define life on campus.
