Seeing Beyond the Studio
New Hampton School’s Visual Arts program invites students at every level—beginner, intermediate, advanced and International Baccalaureate—to explore their creativity through mediums such as photography, printmaking, ceramics, environmental art, and more. Students showcase their work in campus exhibitions and can submit pieces to competitions, awards, and scholarship opportunities.

IB Art
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Art curriculum represents an advanced, honors-level course for dedicated artists. Over this two-year program, students personalize their studies to reflect their individual interests and preferred media. By the end of the course, each student develops and exhibits a comprehensive, cohesive artistic portfolio.
Students may also choose to earn a Diploma with Distinction in the Arts. featuring a final capstone project upon graduation. These programs and more can be found in our Curriculum Guide.
