Whether you are a domestic or international applicant, the application process is designed to be clear and straightforward. Applications are submitted through the Standard Application Online (SAO) portal, where you can create an account, upload required materials, and track your progress.

A complete application consists of:
- An interview with a member of our admission team
- The following items uploaded in the SAO portal (be sure to select New Hampton School as as recipient. Our school code is 5308):
- Student Biographical Profile
- Parent Statement
- Student Essays
- Teacher Recommendations
- Academic Transcripts
- Standardized test results (optional)
- International Students
- English proficiency test required if English is not your primary language. Examples TOEFL (code 8082) or Duolingo.
- Academic Support Program Applicants
- Recent educational testing within three years.
How to Apply for Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Committee will consider only electronic documents submitted through the Clarity application. Please do not mail or email any materials directly to New Hampton School as part of the initial application.

- Complete copy of the current year Federal Income Tax Return once it becomes available*
- Copies of all current-year W2’s
- Business tax forms (if applicable)
- Non-US Tax Filer Verification (if applicable)
- Any payment agreements and/or aid and scholarship information if families have other children in tuition-paying schools
- Be sure to select New Hampton School using the dropdown menu in the application to ensure the proper school receives your documentation.
STEP 3: Decisions
Financial aid decisions are released in conjunction with admission decisions. Returning families will receive financial aid decisions mid-February.

Rolling admissions will be reviewed after March 10 as space allows. Financial aid applications are due in conjunction with admission applications.
