Huskies lose 2-3 at Holderness

Coach Torsey
The Huskies traveled to Holderness on Saturday for their first match of the season.  The Huskies dominated the first half with great passing, possession, and strong defending.  Lennard Garlipp scored first with a beautiful long shot from outside the 18 - assisted by Tyler Reeve.  Holderness responded with a goal of their own.  Tyler Reeve would score before the half on a breakaway blast over the goal keeper’s head - assisted by Griffin Taylor.  With few available subs, the Huskies ran out of gas in the 2nd half and Holderness was able to take the lead.  Christian Boisvert-Flanders was excellent in the net, as usual.  This game showcased the potential of this New Hampton squad at the start of a promising season.
