October Female Athlete of the Month

The October Female Athlete of the Month is awarded to a member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. Eva Hodgson '18 has been an absolute wall on defense and she works hard every day in practices and games. She seems impervious to pain, as she throws her body in front of any shot or cross and chases down any attackers heading towards her goal. Besides that, this athlete is lighthearted at practice, preferring, along with another teammate, to wear her pinnie in atypical ways, which adds humor to practice and keeps the team loose. However, her jovial sense of humor quickly turns into fierce competitiveness and tenacity when she is in any kind of drill or game.  Her work ethic and refusal to lose makes her an irreplaceable part of the defense and has helped our team to a very successful season. Congratulations to Eva for her commitment to the team, excellent defending, and leadership on and off the field.
