Huskies Defeat St. Thomas More

New Hampton earned a AAA victory on Monday night, cruising past St. Thomas More 71-53. After a 9-9 start, New Hampton opened up the game in the first half, leading by as many as 20 before heading into the break up 38-21. St. Thomas More mounted a rally in the second frame, but was never able to get closer than 11. Tyler Lydon '15 (Elisaville, NY) led the way with 28 points and 8 boards, while point guards John Crosby '15 (Baltimore, MD) and Donovan Love '16 (Providence, RI) both added 16. The Huskies and the Chancellors do not have long to wait until their next matchup, as New Hampton travels south to St. Thomas More on Wednesday for a 5 PM tip.
