College Counseling

Our process encourages students to develop a holistic understanding of themselves.

Our Philosophy: The New Hampton School College Counseling Office works to shepherd students and parents through the increasingly competitive and complex process of post-secondary admission and cultivates relationships with college and university admission staffs by promoting New Hampton School–its programs, progress, and students.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Encouraging individual students to develop a holistic understanding of themselves.
  • Guiding students through an increasingly self-directed college process using a variety of assessment and research tools.
  • Fostering a 'college-going culture' for the entire New Hampton community, with regular updates on the ever-changing landscape of college admissions.
  • Communicating expectations about the process and the outcomes for all New Hampton School constituencies.

solutions enable schools to develop and manage multi-year plans for every student to chart a path toward graduation while achieving college and workplace readiness.

Not only do we offer the SAT's, ACT's, and PSAT's right here on campus, but we also offer an SAT prep course in the fall. This course, offered in partnership with Knower Academics, is a very effective way to prepare.
