Kicker Matt Dodge '07 Helps St. Lawrence Football Win its First Conference Title
Matt Dodge '07
never played football at New Hampton School, but the Meredith, New Hampshire, native who went to St. Lawrence with alpine skiing as his primary athletic pursuit has found a home on th Saints football team. St. Lawrence earned a berth in the NCAA Division III playoffs on Friday with a 27-7 win over WPI on Saturday. The Saints will face national power Mt. Union in the first round and Dodge will try to boot the Saints to an upset. The leading scorer on the team with 35 points, Dodge has made 6 of 7 field goal attempts, including a 35-yarder and a 23-yard kick against WPI.
