New Hampton School selected as an Apple Distinguished School

New Hampton School is pleased to announce that it has been named an Apple Distinguished School for 2012-2013 school year for the implementation of its 1:1 iPad Program. The Apple Distinguished School designation is reserved for schools that meet criteria for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence, and demonstrate Apple’s vision of exemplary learning environments.

“This designation is an honor and a wonderful acknowledgement of New Hampton School's quest to continually embrace opportunities for our students to learn in the most relevant ways possible,” said New Hampton Head of School Andrew Menke. “Our vision as a school is to innovatively prepare students for the 21st-Century and our iPad program has been a significant and tangible step forward in this respect. We are proud of both the process with which we have integrated this technology and the way our learning community has embraced it. It has been a remarkable learning experience that continues every day as we attempt to evolve as a school and best serve each individual student.”
