It was a cold and windy day for the JV tennis women for their first match of the season. Although they had home court advantage, they were not able to pull off the win. However, Bridget Conkling managed to win her set with a 6-3 victory, her first time playing tennis!  Virgina Kirn also was able to win three of her games against a tough opponent, playing at the number 2 spot. Unfortunately, these 3 games were not enough for the win of that set. Great start to the season.
