Summer is the perfect time to explore athletics at New Hampton School!

New Hampton School offers athletic summer camps every year to offer young athletes the chance to try a new sport, develop their technique, and experience the expertise of coaches from New Hampton, New England, and around the World.

Husky G.O.A.L. Hockey Camp

July 21-26, 2019

Girls ages 8-14
Overnight:  $850
Day Camp: $650

Girls Outdoor Adventure Leadership - Learning through Hockey

New Hampton School alumnae Mandy Cronin '98 (M-Power Hockey) has joined with New Hampton School to create an all-girls overnight camp focusing on hockey and outdoor adventure. This intensive program will teach girls about character, teamwork, goal-setting and achieving, responsibility, and personal development through the sport of hockey.


  • Daily on-ice skills development
  • Classroom sessions with guest speakers on college prep, scouting, stuy tips and more
  • Fitness and conditioning
  • Evening activities 
  • Outdoor adventure activities including ropes course, hiking, team building and trust excercises
Goalie and Player-specific training- 1.5 hours on-ice every day
*Overnight campers will stay in dorms on campus with staff
*3 healthy meals daily at the NHS Dining Hall

Tentative Schedule

9:00 am - Hot breakfast with cereal and fruit bar
11:15 am - On-ice at Hanaway Rink at Plymouth State University
1:30 pm - Lunch at New Hampton School dining hall
2:00 pm - Afternoon sports activities begin
5:30 pm - Dinner (Hockey trivia, etc)
6:30 pm - Camp games and supervised free time or nightly field trips to local areas
9:30 pm - Lights out

* Day Campers attend from 9am-4pm


Sua Sponte Lacrosse/Leadership Camp with Coach Justin Simon

June 24th-27th
Boys Grades 4-10

Sua Sponte comes from the Latin term “of their own accord”. Our lacrosse and leadership camp is designed to bring the young men that attend to start to understand that if they want something they need to be the ones that go get it. Not only will the Student Athletes get the best in Lacrosse fundamentals and IQ, we will be doing classroom sessions and outdoor activities on leadership, teamwork and understanding if you want something in life you need to work for it. This camp is designed for highly motivated individuals to get better not only at lacrosse, but in their every day lives.


Next Level Basketball Camp

June 24th-28th
Girls Ages 8-17

Led by Division I players, coaches and former professional players Lori Gear McBride (UNC) and New Hampton School’s own Brett Benzio (Tulane), the Next Level Basketball Camp is in it’s 14th year and first on the New Hampton School campus. This overnight camp, which focuses on individual skill development and all-around athletic growth, has developed numerous high school standouts and college players at its camps in New Jersey, Maine and Vermont.  With a proven model that puts players’ skill development first, the camp will feature some highly qualified high school and college coaches that are all committed to player development.


Francis Okaroh's Ultimate Soccer Academy

Specialized Training Camp - July 27-29, 2018
U14 & U18 Sessions - July 29-August 3 for boys and girls ages 10-18

Former professional player and Boston University Coach, Francis Okaroh offers top-notch instruction from experienced coaches and players. Athletes of all ages, whether just learning the game or considering college play, will benefit from this program. The goal of our staff is to help each athlete improve his or her physical and mental performance. Game Intelligence is key. Technical and tactical aspects of the game will be developed through video, discussion, and coaching sessions, small sided games, and full field competition.

The academy also emphasizes motivation, self-discipline, and teamwork.



Skillz Check Soccer

July 22-26, 2018
Ages 10-18
Day or Overnight

Through a training process that emphasizes fair play, respect and hard work, players can achieve the most enjoyment from soccer. Our program is presented through a dynamic and creative soccer training model.
We encourage players to use their imagination and creativity while playing.

NHS Alum, Mo Keita '00 and his team delivers top level soccer training and instruction with the objective of guiding players to attain their maximum potential in the game of soccer. They place emphasis on skill and tactical development as well as the maximization of game enjoyment.
Players attending Skillz Check Soccer Academy Camps are taught skills using the same soccer training techniques that have produced some of the sport's greatest and most skilled players. The low player-to-instructor ratio assures that all players will receive individualized instruction.



An independent, college preparatory school for boarding and day students, grades 9-12 and postgraduate.
